Planned Parenthood Statement on Politically-Motivated Attacks

In response to discredited accusations leveled against Planned Parenthood, Carole Brite, President and CEO, Planned Parenthood of Illinois, comments,

“We will not be stopped or silenced by the politically-motivated attacks on Planned Parenthood and the patients who depend on us. Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our patients, which is why we fight back hard against false charges and efforts to undermine our value to the health of women, teens and men in Illinois. We will continue our mission to fight on behalf of women’s reproductive health and women’s rights. And we will continue to care for patients and communities across Illinois at our 17 health centers with the high quality, trusted, compassionate care they need to live healthy and successful lives.”
